China enacted its first anti-monopoly law in 2008. In a short period of time, it has become one of the major antitrust jurisdictions in the world. In March 2018, the three agencies in charge of enforcing anti-monopoly law were merged into a new agency under the State Administration of Market Regulation. 2.
