Morocco : New guidance for the implementation of competition law compliance programs
Le conseil de la concurrence marocain vient de publier un guide sur la mise en place de programmes de conformité au droit de la concurrence par les entreprises et les associations professionnelles qui contient également un rappel des règles de droit de la concurrence applicables et qui peut en conséquence être considéré comme les premières lignes directrices du Conseil de la concurrence.
I. Introduction
1. The Moroccan Competition Council (hereinafter the “Competition Council”) has just published on its website a guide entitled “Guide related to the implementation of competition law compliance programs in companies and professional organizations.” As discussed below, this guide contains a significant number of instructions relating to compliance programs that may be adopted by companies and professional organizations. It also contains a number of practical recommendations as to how companies and business organizations should or should not behave in order to ensure compliance with competition law by their employees or members.
