SYNTHÈSE
Eric Paroche introduced and moderated the discussion. He questioned the scope of dual distribution and information exchanges. In particular, some commentators have asked, in view of the February 2022 consultation, whether information exchanges would be excluded from the block-exemption irrespective of market share thresholds.
Eric also questioned panelists on the increased control of suppliers over distribution networks. He opened the discussion to safeguards that could limit the risks of lessening intra-brand competition or of partitioning the internal market.
