Welcome Remarks

BILL KOVACIC

What Learned Hand’s Experience Can Teach Us

Bill Kovacic addressed the welcome remarks and underlined that the Awards represents an “innovative venture, which serves to tie the larger global community together.”

Kovacic explained that the rationale behind the event “in the mix of awards is to celebrate a wide range of writings, and to look at the development of competition law in the United States and in other jurisdictions to see how a wide range of written expression has shaped the field.”
