In a judgment of 3 May 2011, the Brussels Court of Appeal has requested the Supreme Court (Hof van Cassatie/Cour de Cassation) to give a preliminary ruling on questions relating to the use of languages in proceedings before the College of Competition Prosecutors. The case concerns a complaint lodged before the Belgian Competition Council by the KPN Group and Mobistar against Belgacom for an alleged abuse of a dominant position on the market for broadband access.
