In a preliminary investigation in 2011 on the allegations that Abalıoğlu Yem Soya ve Tekstil A.Ş. (“ Abalıoğlu ”) had exclusivity clauses in its dealership agreements concerning the sales of chicken meat and eggs under “Lezita” brand, the Board had decided that Abalıoğlu had not violated the Law No. 4054 on Protection of Competition (“ Law No. 4054 ”) given that dealership agreements did not contain exclusivity clauses and that such clauses would benefit from the block exemption set forth in the Communiqué No. 2002/2 (“ Communiqué ”) any way.
