On 15 June 2005, the Hungarian Competition Authority (the “GVH”) fined ISH Kft. (“ISH”), SAP Magyarország Kft. (“SAP”) and IBM Magyarország Kft. (“IBM”), the three leading informatics companies, a total of HUF 1.51bn (approximately € 6m) for anti-competitive behaviour, including the coordination of bids to public procurement tenders, the attempt to illegally influence the terms of the tender and the attempt to involve Synergon Informatikai Rendszereket Tervező és Kivitelező Rt. (“Synergon”), a competitor, in the cooperation.
