The CJEU ruled on the European Commission’s powers of inspections in cartel proceedings, in particular, regarding the power to copy data without a prior examination. On 2009, the Commission’s inspectors, accompanied by representatives of the French competition authority, visited the premises of Nexans France in order to carry out an inspection.
