The US FTC announces annual changes to the thresholds for the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976

On January 21, 2022, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced the annual changes to the thresholds for the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended (the “HSR Act”). The official publication is expected to be released in the Federal Register on January 24, 2022. The new size of transaction threshold is $101 million.
