Summary In a court decision following the launch of the new Free Mobile offer in 2012 in France, both Free Mobile and Bouygues Telecom were fined by the Paris Commercial court for disparagement. Facts Up to January 2012, the mobile phone sector in France was composed of three major actors, namely Orange, Bouygues Telecom and SFR. Free Mobile received a state license to operate and became the fourth operator. It launched its offer in January 2012.
