The Italian Competition Authority investigates into foreclosing conduct of the manager of Milan airports in the general aviation sector (Cedicor / SEA)

Introduction By a decision made on 20 December 2013 the Italian Competition Authority (ICA) has opened an Article 102 investigation against the manager of the Milan airports, SEA (Case A474, Cedicor/SEA) [1]. SEA was alleged to have abused its dominant position by foreclosing the market for the management of airport facilities for the general aviation since it impeded a potential new entrant from purchasing the previous manager of such facilities.
