The operation The operation comprised the acquisition of Shell Atlántica and Shell Peninsular by DISA. DISA is a group of companies mainly active in the Canary Islands that operates in the following fields: (i) wholesale and retail distribution of refined oil products; (ii) distribution and marketing of liquefied petroleum gas; and (iii) the transport and storage of fuel products. DISA also owns a network of petrol stations. In most cases these are operated under the brand names of major oil companies such as CEPSA in the Canary Islands and in mainland Spain under the BP, Repsol YPF and Shell brands.
