On 6th April 2021, the French Competition Authority unconditionally cleared the acquisition of joint control over a local semi-public company active in the building sector (SEMCODA) by the Departement de l'Ain, Adestia (a Caisse des Dépôts et des Consignations subsidiary, a public long-term investor group), and Action Logement. Background of the decision The target, SEMCODA, is a public-owned entity active mainly in the housing sector.
