Yane Svetiev joined the University of Sydney Law School in January 2018 as an Associate Professor, having held faculty appointments at Bocconi University (Milan, Italy), the European University Institute (Florence, Italy) and at Brooklyn Law School (New York, USA). His research focuses on the intersection between private law and transnational market regulation. In addition to his academic appointments, he has served as litigation associate at Cravath, Swaine and Moore LLP (New York, USA) and as judicial associate to the Hon. Michael Kirby at the High Court of Australia.
