Sharon Connaughton is a special counsel in the antitrust and competition practice group of Cooley’s Washington, DC office. Her practice focuses on antitrust counseling, litigation and the defense of corporate clients in connection with domestic and international mergers and acquisitions. She has extensive experience representing clients through the merger review process before the FTC, the DOJ and foreign antitrust enforcement authorities. Sharon Connaughton has represented clients in several high-profile merger investigations in a range of industries including consumer products, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, agriculture, mining equipment, waste and paper.
