Senior Attorney

Alice Setari is a Senior Attorney at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Her practice focuses on EU and Italian competition law. She advises clients in the framework of merger control procedures and in investigations concerning agreements and abuses of dominant position. She also has extensive experience in the broader field of European Union law (a subject in which she holds a Ph.D.) and represents clients both in national litigation before administrative courts and in litigation before the courts of the European Union. She also publishes on antitrust matters and lectures at conferences. Alice joined Cleary Gottlieb in 2009. From 2009 to 2013, she was resident in the Brussels office. Prior to joining the firm, Alice was a trainee lawyer for a major competition law firm in Brussels.
