Romain de Nijs is the founding partner of Extent Economics and Associate Professor of Economics at Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE. He has been working for ten years as a consultant for companies and their legal advisers in the fields of competition economics, intellectual property and the evaluation of economic damages. He has developed advanced skills in econometrics, surveys and geographic analysis. His research focuses on the digital economy. He regularly publishes in international journals. Previously, Romain was Visiting Scholar at the Haas School of Business at Berkeley and Associate Professor at the Paris School of Economics. He graduated as an engineer from Ecole Polytechnique and completed a Ph.D. in economics from Ecole des Ponts.
