Reem Albakr is an associate in The Law Office of Megren M. Al-Shaalan, with which White & Case practices in cooperation in Saudi Arabia. Reem specializes in corporate and securities matters, in particular mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and debt conversions. She regularly advises clients on corporate, Saudi regulatory, capital markets and employment matters. Reem also advises Saudi government entities in relation to its projects. Reem has experience in advising on multijurisdictional corporate restructuring and foreign investment mandates. Reem is a Saudi Arabian–law qualified lawyer.
