


Philip Andrews-Speed
Philip Andrews-Speed is a specialist in international energy policy and regulation. Philip Andrews-Speed is a Principal Fellow at the Energy Studies Institute of the National University of Singapore and a Senior Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. He started his career as a mineral and oil exploration geologist before moving into the field of energy and resource governance. Until 2010 he was Professor of Energy Policy at the University of Dundee and Director of the Centre of Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy. Specialties : International energy and resources policy ; China ; East and Southeast Asia ; academic management ; project management. Until 2010 he was Professor of Energy Policy at the University of Dundee and Director of the Centre of Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy. During the academic year 2011/12 he was a Fellow of the Transatlantic Academy at the German Marshall Fund of the United Sates in Washington DC. His current research focuses on the low-carbon energy transition in China and Southeast Asia and on the governance of nuclear energy.
