Özlem Başıböyük is a Senior Associate at ACTECON in Istanbul. She mainly works in competition, regulation and anti-dumping projects. She also assists the ACTECON team in day-to-day competition advisory services. Özlem holds a law degree (LL.B.) from Marmara University (2014), and an LL.M. in International Commercial Law with distinction degree from Brunel University London (2017). She wrote a dissertation in the matter of “A Comparative Analysis of Merger Remedies under the European and Turkish Merger Control Regimes.” She was admitted to İstanbul Bar Association in 2015. Before joining in Actecon in 2018, Özlem worked at several law firms mainly specialized in commercial and company law. Özlem is fluent in English.
