Marvin Francisco Discua Singh is currently the legal director of the Honduran Competition Authority (CDPC). He has a Master’s in management and public policy from the University of Chile, Santiago, a postgraduate degree in intellectual property from the University of Mérida, Venezuela, and a degree as lawyer and journalist of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH). He previously held other positions as technical director of the Commission, intellectual property director and negotiator for Honduras in intellectual property for the DR-CAFTA free trade agreement, as well as professor of the Master’s degree programme in mercantile law of UNAH.
