Dr Maximilian Volmar is an associate at Linklaters in Berlin. He specialises in M&A transactions, restructurings and joint ventures, and has a particular focus on advising investors and utilities in the energy and renewables sector. Prior to joining Linklaters, he was an Associate at a leading US law firm in Berlin and a trainee at the European Commission in Brussels. Maximilian studied law at the universities of Freiburg (LLB), Cambridge (MCL) and Hamburg (PhD). He also worked as a research associate at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg.
