Matteo Montanaro’s practice is primarily focused on corporate matters, having substantial experience in cross-border and domestic acquisitions and divestitures, joint venture deals, mergers and other corporate reorganizations. He has also advised on commercial and tech contracts. Matteo joined the firm in 2004 and became a partner in 2008. He was based in the New York office in 2004-2005 and in the Abu Dhabi office in 2013-2015. Prior to joining Cleary, Matteo worked for the law firm Brosio, Casati e Associati in 1997 which merged in 1998 with Allen & Overy.
