Kit advises clients on general intellectual property, information technology, data protection and wider commercial matters. In addition to his stand-alone commercial work, Kit also advises on the commercial, intellectual property and information technology aspects of corporate transactions. Kit has experience advising a range of clients, including SME’s, private equity and asset managers to not-for-profit organisations and high-net-worth individuals, covering a range of sectors including manufacturing, technology, financial services and hotels. He also has experience advising clients across a range of industries on the protection, exploitation and commercialisation their intellectual property. In particular, in relation to brand licensing, intellectual property transfers and assignments, the preparation of collaboration, manufacturing and distribution agreements, as well as advising in relation to rights against potential infringers. Kit has previously undertaken a secondment to a large New Zealand-based manufacturer and exporter.
