Deputy Assistant Director
Kelly Signs is the Deputy Assistant Director of the Bureau of Competition’s Office of Policy and Coordination at the Federal Trade Commission. OPC works with Bureau and Commission staff on litigation matters, speeches, testimony, appellate briefs, advisory opinions, and briefing papers. Among other duties, Ms Signs has been instrumental in helping to develop plain language business guidance such as the Guide to the Antitrust Laws and the Competition Matters blog and has managed numerous projects for the Bureau. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, Ms Signs previously worked for the Subcommittee on Antitrust, Monopolies, and Business Rights in the U.S. Senate, and then as a staff attorney at the Antitrust Division.
