Jens-Uwe Franck

University of Mannheim

Jens-Uwe Franck is Professor of Law at the University of Mannheim. While his main research focus is in the field of competition law, he regularly engages in research projects on cross-cutting issues that concern the legal constitution of markets. Thus, his research also touches upon various aspects of banking and securities regulation as well as consumer protection law. His publications include the book “Marktordnung durch Haftung” (Mohr Siebeck 2016) where damages liability as a tool to enforce market regulation, notably in fields of securities regulation and competition law, is thoroughly analyzed.
