Igor Simic is a partner in the Antitrust and Competition Law practice group of Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier as of January 1, 2008. Since joining the firm in 2005, Mr. Simic has advised international and domestic clients on merger control and antitrust investigation matters under EU and French law. He is particularly recognized for his antitrust law experience in the bank industry, and in representing large industrial enterprises in major cartel investigations and cases. Mr. Simic is a member of the Paris Bar since 2000. He graduated from the European College of Bruges (1997) and from the University Robert Schuman in Strasbourg (1996), where he received a distinction in international and European law.
