The Brattle Group (Toronto)

Ian Cass is a Consultant at The Brattle Group in Toronto. He supports economic experts and advises clients on antitrust and competition matters, particularly the analysis of mergers and acquisitions in Canada. Prior to joining The Brattle Group in 2016, Ian worked in merger enforcement at the Canadian Competition Bureau for five years, where he led teams conducting merger reviews under the Competition Act. In his time at the Bureau, Ian was also involved in a number of policy projects with the OECD Competition Committee and the International Competition Network. Ian holds a Master’s degree in economics from Queen’s University.
