Hélène Messmer

Mrs. MESSMER holds a Master 2 specialized in consumer law and competition law from the University of Montpellier, as well as a Master 2 specialized in economic law and regulation in Europe of Sciences Po Strasbourg . She was appointed permanent rapporteur for the investigation services of the Competition Authority in November 2019 and she works within the Competition Directorate 5. Prior to that, she was assistant rapporteur and trainee within the same company for 2 years. Hélène has accumulated four trainee positions, notably at the Ministry of Economy and Finance - DGCCRF Bureau 3B Competition Policy (Oct 2017 - Nov 2017), then at SDR Legal (Apr 2017 - Jul 2017). These first two internships were carried out in law firms (Cabinet bouruet Aubertot Jan 2016 - Jul 2016) and at Nomos - law firm she was an economic law intern for four months. She was a court usher at the Illkirch-Graffenstaden District Court for a year (Sept 2012 - Sept 2013)
