Evelyne Friedel, Partner at Taylor Wessing, heads the Competition Law and the Life Sciences departments of the Paris office. As a specialist in competition and commercial law, Evelyne advises and represents clients with respect to their business practices vis-à-vis French and EU rules and conducts dispute resolutions before the relevant competition authorities. Evelyne also deals with notifications of mergers and acquisitions before the European Commission and the French competition authorities.Evelyne started her career with a major food & drug law firm of Washington DC. She has developed since then an expertise on regulatory issues and especially in food & drug law and regularly assists clients in the Life Sciences sector.Evelyne Friedel is a French lawyer, admitted to the Paris Bar in 1992. She has a Doctor of Laws degree (University of Paris). She also has Master degrees in EU Law and in international trade law (University of Paris) and a Master of Laws (LLM) (Georgetown University, Washington D.C.). Evelyne has lectured for several years at the University Paris II (Panthéon Assas) and at the Institute of Political Studies of Paris. Evelyne was recognized twice by the ”Best Lawyers ” as the 2014 & 2016 “Lawyer of the Year” in EU Law.
