Ertuğrul Can Canbolat has extensive knowledge of and experience on all aspects of competition law. He provides legal consultancy services regarding day-to-day competition and regulatory compliance, the investigations initiated by the Turkish Competition Authority, merger control issues related to both domestic and cross-border mergers as well as exemption applications and representing clients in judicial review proceedings. Furthermore, Ertuğrul Can Canbolat assists in defending local and international clients before the Ministry of Economy in anti-dumping investigations. As for his education, he graduated with an LLM degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Exeter, UK with distinction and previously graduated from Bilkent University, School of Law in 2011, finished Österreichisches Sankt Georgs-Kolleg (Avusturya Lisesi) in Istanbul in 2006. Before joining ACTECON in 2015, Ertuğrul Can Canbolat worked at several reputable law firms dealing with the issues regarding competition law, M&A, regulatory matters, public procurement law, commercial law, law of obligations, intellectual property law, and privatisation.
