Eda Duru is a partner at ELIG Gürkaynak Attorneys-at-Law, based in Istanbul. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2005. She was admitted to the Istanbul Bar in 2007. Before joining ELIG Gurkaynak Attorneys-at-Law in 2014, Eda Duru worked as a senior associate in the competition law department of a leading law firm based in Istanbul. She was assigned to undertake numerous merger and acquisition filings, competition law compliance matters and investigations conducted by the Turkish Competition Authority and has extensive experience in these areas. She has represented various multinational and national companies before the Turkish Competition Authority in a variety of markets and sectors. She is fluent in English.
