Corinne Mascala was president of Toulouse 1-Capitole University from May 2016 to November 2020. She was the first vice-president since 2012. Corinne Mascala was a lecturer at the University of Toulouse 1 from 1991 to 1999. She then taught at the University of Franche-Comté from 1999 to 2002, where she chaired the commission of specialists in private law (2000-2002). Corinne Mascala has been teaching at the University of Toulouse 1 as a professor of exceptional rank since 2002. She is in charge of the master’s degree in fundamental business law, directs the research laboratory on financial delinquency that she created, and is an elected member of the university’s commission of specialists. Until 2000, she was an elected member of the scientific council and an elected member of the council of the law faculty of the University of Toulouse 1. She was a member of the board of directors from 2005 to 2008. From 2004 to 2008, and then from 2012 to 2015, Corinne Mascala chaired the Disciplinary Commission of the University of Toulouse 1. From 2008 to 2012, she was vice-president in charge of the evaluation and quality process of the university, then, from 2012 to 2016, vice-president of the board of directors of the institution. As part of her research activities, Corinne Mascala has published and written columns in various publications.
