Betül Baş is a counsel at ELIG Gürkaynak Attorneys-at-Law, Istanbul. She graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2012. She is admitted to the Istanbul Bar. Before joining ELIG Gürkaynak in 2014, Betül worked as an associate in the competition law department of a reputable law firm in Istanbul. She has extensive experience in competition law compliance matters, merger control and defenses in investigations conducted by the Turkish Competition Authority. She has represented various multinational and national companies before the Turkish Competition Authority in various sectors. She is fluent in English and Turkish.
