Andrea Collart

Andrea Collart joined Avisa Partners in July 2016, where he specialises in EU Competition and advises on M&A, antitrust, and cartel cases. Before joining Avisa Partners, Andrea Collart spent six years in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP), where he was involved in the handling of high-profile cases in the financial, transport, energy, and raw material industry sectors, both in M&A and cartels. While at DG COMP, he gained in particular an insight into settlement proceedings. Prior to this, he worked as a business strategy consultant in Germany. Andrea Collart studied Law at LIUC – Cattaneo University and holds a Master of International Affairs from the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) in Milan. Andrea Collart speaks Italian, French and English and understands Spanish and German.
