Agathe Esch joined Herbert Smith Freehills as associate in 2019. She has experience in antitrust and merger control issues. She has represented French and international clients in antitrust, mergers and state aid proceedings before the European and French competition authorities and courts. Agathe Esch is a graduate from the University Paris 2-Panthéon-Assas where she obtained a Master in European Law. She also holds a LL.M degree in commercial law from the University of Rotterdam. She is fluent in English and French and has a good knowledge of Italian.
