Vani Chetty

Vani Chetty was a partner in Baker McKenzie’s Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in Johannesburg prior to her independent practice. She was among the leading lawyers listed in The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists, Global Competition Review’s "Top 100 Women in Antitrust," and PLC’s Cross-Border Handbook. She co-chaired the sub-group on competition policy implementation for the International Chamber of Commerce Commission to the International Competition Network. Vani Chetty founded competition-focused firm Vani Chetty Competition Law in 2007, which was South Africa’s first boutique competition law practice. She was admitted to the South African bar in 1994. Vani Chetty is a former student of the Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M., 1996) and of the University of Durban Westville (B.A., LL.B., 1992)
