Meryem joined RBB’s Paris office as a Senior Associate in 2016. She holds a Master degree in Economics and Statistics from ENSAE ParisTech in Paris and MSc in Economics from the Humboldt University in Berlin. Meryem has over three years’ experience in economics consulting. Meryem has been involved in many competition law proceedings before the French Competition Authority and the European Commission, and advised clients on various competition issues, including mergers and acquisitions raising both vertical and horizontal concerns, abuse of dominance, vertical agreements, cartels, state aid, and damage assessment. Meryem’ s experience spans a wide range of sectors, including financial services, electricity distribution, pharmaceuticals, specialist retail, chemicals, automotive industry, as well as food and transportation. A Moroccan national, Meryem is fluent in English and French, and has a good understanding of Arabic and Spanish.
