Since 2003, Joan Divol has been a full time tenured faculty member specializing in private law at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She teaches Comparative, European and International Intellectual Property Law, International Contracts and Legal Methods. She directed the studies of the double Franco-American degree in partnership with Cornell and Columbia, the LL.M. in French and European law and she created a JD / LLM dual degree program with US law schools (Fordham, Cardozo, Boston College, Washington University St. Louis, Pittsburgh). Having been delegated to International Relations for the Department of European International and Comparative Studies, she is, since 2015-2016, the Sorbonne Law Associate Dean for external relations directing the Master in Comparative Law program which allows one year of mobility in a partner institution. For the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Joan Divol is the Vice-Provost for International Affairs and head of the Committee on International Relations.
