


Elizabeth Kraus
Elizabeth Kraus was Deputy Director for International Antitrust at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. where she led the team that coordinates the FTC’s international antitrust policy, bilateral cooperation and case coordination work, and represented the Federal Trade Commission in multilateral fora, actively participating in the International Competition Network and the OECD Competition Committee. She previously served as Counsel to the Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Competition and, prior to that, as Counsel for Multilateral Affairs for the Bureau’s International Antitrust Division, where she represented the FTC in a number of international fora related to competition policy and law enforcement. From 1996 to 2002, she practiced EU competition law as associate lawyer at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in Brussels. She focused on merger-related work in the telecommunications and internet technology fields. Elizabeth Kraus is a former student of the Dartmouth College, the Georgetown University and the College of Europe. She holds several diploma, including a masters degree in European Legal Studies and a Juris Doctor.
