Donald C. Klawiter

Klawiter PLLC

Donald C. Klawiter was a partner in the Washington Office of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP. His practice focused on antitrust investigations and litigation, with a major focus on international cartel matters worldwide. Early in his career, he served in various positions at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. In 2005-06, he served as Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law. Currently, he is practicing antitrust and competition law independently, as well as in conjunction with my antitrust and competition lawyer network throughout the United States and around the world. He is continuing to advise U.S. and international corporations and senior executives in international cartel investigations —with creativity and flexibility based on my forty-three years of experience at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, in private practice and in my leadership experience in the ABA Section of Antitrust Law. With the independence of a smaller practice matched with the benefits of a considerable network of expert practitioners, he will advise and act for clients in antitrust litigation on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants. In the course of his years of practice, he has developed extensive experience in developing and presenting antitrust compliance programs, tailoring them to a company’s needs and making them highly relevant to the executives at risk.
