Jean-François Calmette is a lecturer in public law at the University of Perpignan. He wrote his doctoral thesis in economic law on the theme of "Scarcity in public law". He has taught many traditional public law subjects (administrative property law, public economic law) at the University of Perpignan, but has also taught courses in more innovative subjects, such as electronic communications law (at the University of Toulouse 1). His latest publications include a study on the legal nature of sports agents’ contracts in the world of football (in collaboration). Jean-François Calmette is also a lawyer at RGR Avocats law firm in Perpignan.
