Blanca-Cecilia Tapias-Cote

Blanca-Cecilia Tapias-Cote is Executive General Counsel at GE Corporate. She has previously held numerous positions with Alstom, including Legal Director Competition & Country Counsel Network at Alstom Group, Senior Vice President Legal at Alstom Grid, Senior Vice President Legal & Member of Executive Committee at Alstom Hydro, and Legal Director Latin America, Spain, and Portugal at Alstom Power. Prior to Alstom, she also worked at Cegelec (Alcatel-Altshom), and lectured at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Ms. Tapias-Cote holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Constitutional Law from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II), Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Administrative Law from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II), and Doctor of Law from Universidad de los Andes.
