Till Patrik Holterhus MLE studied law in Goettingen (Germany) and Gal¬way (Ireland), holds a supplementary degree in European law (Magister Legum Europae) and is currently working on his doctoral thesis to receive his doctor’s degree. In Fall/Winter 2011 he did a research stay in Berkeley (California, USA) as a part of the UC Berkeley’s Visiting Scholar Program at Boalt Hall. As well as receiving a scholarship from the German program for the promotion of young talent, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Holterhus is working part-time in the antitrust group of the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Duesseldorf (Germany). His main research interests are in the field of merger control. Holterhus publishes in the field of European and German antitrust law.
