Sophie de Cara is an Economist and Statistician at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Paris. Prior to joining PwC in 2005, Sophie worked at the French energy regulator (CRE) and as a lecturer at La Sorbonne University. In PwC, Sophie specialises in competition & regulation economics and econometrics analyses, and has been involved in projects within a number of industries, including energy, transport, and health. Sophie also has significant experience in designing and implementing auctions, mainly in the energy sector. Sophie holds a masters degree in Economics and Statistics from ENSAE school, and a postgraduate certificate in Economics, Econometrics and Industrial Organisation from La Sorbonne University.
