Simon Albert has been a senior associate at Alston & Bird since September 2019. He works both in London and Brussels. Simon Albert previousely held a position of associate at Constantine Cannon and Stephenson Harwood. In 2015, he worked for the enforcement division of the Competition and Markets Authority, in London. He worked previously has a consultant in the Antitrust & Competition practice of the London office. He has substantial experience of all aspects of EU and UK competition law and has worked for a number of leading firms in London, Brussels and Paris. He also has extensive experience of international merger control in a number of sectors and international cartel investigations. Recent merger experience includes pharmaceuticals and animal healthcare, as well as payment card systems. He joined Mayer Brown in 2011 and speaks French and German.
