Regula Walter is a qualified Swiss lawyer. She graduated at the University of Zürich, Switzerland, and did her post graduate studies at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Before joining the Richemont Group, she worked for several years in private practise with two of the biggest Swiss law firms in Zürich, where she advised international commercial and Swiss clients in English, German and French. Her special focus in private practise was on arbitration & litigation, distribution structures, licenses and sponsorship contracts, antitrust related advice, procedures and litigation, unfair competition, merger filings and M&A, JV and cooperation agreements. In 1996 she joined Richemont international SA in Geneva, where she started off general counsel for various of the Group’s brands, such as Montblanc, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chloé, IWC, Lange, Old England ; handling inter alia manufacturing and supply, internet, distribution, licensing, endorsement and sponsorship agreements, gray market and corporate issues. She also had Group wide responsibility antitrust inquiries, investigation, merger filings and litigation and was involved in various M&A transactions, Corporate Social Responsibility and Responsible Jewelry Council, Licenses. In her current position as Head of Legal, Antitrust and e-Commerce, she has Group responsibilities for all competition law aspects and advice, litigation and procedures, as well as for all e-Commerce aspects.
