Deputy General Rapporteur

Pascale Déchamps was appointed deputy general rapporteur at the French Competition Authority starting on Jan. 18th, 2021. Pascale Déchamps was head of Oxera’s Paris office. She has more than ten years’ experience as a competition economist, advising companies on how to deal with antitrust or merger investigations conducted by the European Commission or competition authorities in the EU, in particular in France. She has advised complainant and defendant firms in the context of mergers (unilateral, coordinated, vertical or conglomerate effects), abuses of dominant position (e.g. predation, margin squeeze, refusal to supply), and cartel investigations. She has experience in a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceutical products and devices, telecoms, agricultural products, distribution, semi-conductors, construction materials, industrial products, energy and consumer products. Prior to joining Oxera’s Brussels office in 2013, Pascale spent nine years working with Charles River Associates. She is listed in The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists 2014.
