Oliver Sitar

Head of Unit

Mr. Oliver Sitar is currently head of unit at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture. Previously, he was a counsellor at the European Union Delegation in Geneva dealing with WTO matters (2009-2013). Prior to this, he worked in the legal department of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture (2005-2009). From 1999 to 2005 he was case-handler in the European Commission’s DG Competition working on abuse of dominance cases in the information technology sector. He studied law in Vienna and Paris and International Relations at SAIS in Bologna.
