Ninette Dodoo is counsel and co-head of Freshfields’ antitrust, competition and trade practice in China. She spent over 10 years in Brussels advising clients on EU and multi-jurisdictional matters before relocating to Beijing in 2009 to head the Chinese antitrust practice of another magic circle firm. Ninette specialises in the antitrust and regulatory aspects of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and investigations in Asia-Pacific. She has recently acted on some of the most significant matters in China. She has extensive experience advising multi-national companies, state-owned enterprises and sovereign wealth funds across a range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare and life sciences, consumer goods, food and beverages, mining and IT. Ninette has also advised multi-national companies involved in investigation procedures, and has counseled multi-national companies on compliance with antitrust laws.
